“If you love someone, why would you ever let them go?”
Thank you for being here.
Resources to support your mind, body & spirit in grief.
“Grief is interesting, and often not welcome. When people are grieving, sadly, they're too often encouraged to move on, get over it or let go. I disagree.
I believe grief is a display of love.”
“Joy is an act of resistance against despair.”
Hi, I’m Danielle.
I don’t know what brought you here, but I’m glad you’re here.
Thank you for your courage to explore these resources or read my book, Joy in the Mourning.
I have been a student in this “school of grief” since 2013.
It has been hard, complex, exhausting and more.
Being pregnant in grief taught me that grief is a whole body experience - mind, body and spirit - and I learned to start taking care of myself in new ways in that season.
I miss my son, Chase, everyday.
And I choose to continue allowing my love for him to be displayed through my willingness to face grief.
After all, like Vision said, “What is grief if not love persevering.”
Blessing to you as you continue speaking the language and navigating the path of grief.
